We say ‘your’ Kindy, because it is managed by the parents of the children that attend the Kindy in conjunction with the Directors, Assistants and an Administrator – this is community at its best! (Many long-lasting friendships are formed between children and their families during this special year of Kindy). We look forward to sharing the fun, creativity, exploration, and development that occurs in these important early years of your child’s education.

 

At Lutwyche Windsor Kindergarten and Preschool we pride ourselves in retaining trained, highly skilled and passionate educators who are able to best support your child’s learning and development. Our teachers are university-qualified and are supported by Teaching Assistants who are Diploma qualified. Together, these wonderful educators use their wealth of knowledge and experience to provide a program that guides and supports children to be curious, capable and collaborative learners.

Lutwyche Windsor Kindergarten and Preschool is not-for-profit and runs a Queensland Government Approved Program,  situated along the leafy Kedron Brook of inner Brisbane (on Turrbul Land). We are proudly affiliated with C&K, a leader in children’s education and care since being established in 1907. As a not-for-profit Kindergarten, children come first in everything we do.

We strive to create a welcoming environment that supports the development of secure relationships which nurtures each child’s sense of belonging. We acknowledge that many people’s voices, ideas, and perspectives, (especially those from families and children), are necessary to contribute to the running of a successful and inclusive Kindergarten Program. We believe in working together with our community to provide a kindergarten program where we value acceptance, celebrate diversity and respect the rights of every child.
